Seasonal Vegetables and Fermentation.
A culinary and fermentation salon that nurtures the body and gently fulfills the heart.
"Ki to Wa"
Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, Japan
"Ki to Wa" is a women’s cooking salon where we share gentle, nourishing dishes made with seasonal ingredients and traditionally crafted fermented seasonings.
By caring for the gut and honoring the rhythms of nature, our cooking supports the body with kindness and balance.
What we choose to eat each day—
these small, everyday decisions—
may seem simple, yet they hold a quiet power that sustains and strengthens us.
Cooking is a tender way to accompany ourselves, no matter who we are or how we feel.
At "Ki to Wa", we believe in the quiet strength of these small choices in daily life.
Through thoughtfully sharing this gentle practice, we hope to support each person who joins us in finding more joy in everyday living—and in the beautiful act of being alive.
Currently, all lessons are offered in Japanese.
However, we are planning to introduce on-demand lessons with English subtitles in the near future, so that more people may enjoy and learn from "Ki to Wa", wherever they may be.
To everyone who has joined us,
we offer our heartfelt thanks.
Here, I share my thoughts as an instructor,
along with the small moments in daily life that gently move my heart.
A record of everyday cooking, sweets, and simple moments of daily life—
along with reflections and reports from our lessons at Ki to Wa.
